How to begin
A good writer is driven by many things, but a must-have motivator is a little something called inspiration. It's important to have several writing techniques in mind. You will find a post on my site that gives you a few ideas where to start.
Characters?
It's hard to write the perfect hero, the perfect villain or the perfect sidekick. While nothing has to be perfect, I have several posts which you can use to compose the ideal set of characters for your story.
An example: The tattoo
As I stared around the ruined workshop, tears stung my eyes and I held everything together, giving my all to the effort not to scream. I wanted to kill those mysterious men, with the tattoo that my dad had warned me against. "That tattoo is trouble, little phoenix," he had said. "They are trouble through and through." But I couldn't pretend that nothing had happened anymore. Action had to be taken. I would avenge my family, my family that they had taken from me. Whatever it takes.
